DJ D-rok wanted a website, with little integration of social media. So I design a ‘flashy’ looking 1 paged website using jquery to spice up the design.
For the design I made illustrations, photos are only used in the popup news items.
An agenda system was essential: D-Rok can update his gigs through the WordPress CMS (content management system), but also can import an Excel or CSV file and automatically generate news items if he wishes.

Social Media only has been integrated by the like and update function of Facebook. But from the backend/CMS he can post his news items immediately to his Facebook Fanpage:

Even though D-Rok doesn’t use Twitter himself: people can post news items to many services including Twitter, but also email to a friend:

And when visitors want to leave a comment, they don’t have to sign up to the website, they can login with their Facebook information:

He does not have to place his YouTube or Vimeo videos separately on his site: just updating his YouTube Channel is enough to display his newest videos to the site:
